About Anahit
A lifetime devoted to music and community
Anahit Koutsouzian holds a Ph.D. in music from the Komitas State Conservatory in Yerevan, Armenia. For decades she has performed across Toronto and beyond, contributing music to TVO and the National Film Board of Canada.
Her discography includes the albums Kanche Kroonk, Gakavik, and Hai Mnank, which was nominated for the Armenian Music Awards in Los Angeles. She performs in six languages and across genres ranging from classical to salsa, rumba, and traditional Armenian repertoire.
